Career Decision Mapping - Making the decision about your career deserves your introspection as well as knowledge of what the world has to offer. Today's youth cannot count on occupations remaining the same or even being in existence by the time you complete your education. Career Decision Mapping takes the knowledge you gain from the inventories and pointed exercises and helps you prepare a map of work and life factors. This is geared to help youth and their parents approach the question "what do you want to do" with some professional assistance.
Career Camp is a two day workshop from 9AM to 4PM. The workshop is led by a career professional and will cover:
- Inventory Testing -
MBTI, COPES, COPS, Holland Code
Entrepreneur Occupations
Artistic Occupations
Career Camp will also provide participants with career decision making exercises, work style exercises, and golf lessons at the Brookside Golf Course with a Golf Pro Teacher, Kathy Cho. Kathy Cho is a Class A Pro Golf Association Certified Instructor with many years of experience teaching young adults and adults the basics and finer points of golf. She has designed this workshop to provide participants with an overview of golf and hands-on instruction. She is very successful with young adults and has received accolades from colleagues and students alike. Kathy has a flare for teaching and has stimulated golf interest through her creative teaching techniques and positive enforcement.
Learning the game of golf is a rewarding step in the business world. Many business leaders conduct their "informal" business transactions on the golf course. It is said that you can tell a lot about one's character when you play golf with them.
